IBIZA GAY PRIDE 2018: DAY OF LGBT PRIDE IN IBIZA.
Under the slogan "An Island full of Color" is celebrated in our beloved Island, the Ibiza Gay Pride 2018 and that will last from June 13 to 16.
Thanks to the effort of the non-profit group Ibiza LGTB whose aim is the integration of the rights of the LGTBI community and with the shout of "For LGTBI rights, let's change the world" we will see how the white color that defines Ibiza becomes a luminous rainbow full of celebration, tolerance and diversity.
For the fourth consecutive year we can enjoy in our streets, beaches and theaters a "gay friendly" environment full of joy and entertainment and shows, circus, lectures, conferences, exhibitions with the sole purpose of claiming sexual equality and respect for this collective.
Everyone knows that Ibiza has always been characterized as a tolerant, respectful and multicultural population, which has led, along with the good weather conditions of the Balearic Islands at this time, to settle the "Ibiza Gay Pride" weeks before the LGBT Pride Day, celebrated around the world on June 28.
What to see and what to do during the days of the "Ibiza Gay Pride"?
The leisure offer that we find in Ibiza during these days is in itself wide and varied enough to not stop for a minute. The good weather invites in June to visit our beaches, not yet overcrowded and enjoy a good meal in any of the excellent restaurants of the largest of the Pitiusas, where eating a good rice or fish by the sea is a delight within reach of everybody.
The afternoon offers another kind of pleasures such as visiting D'Alt Vila, the old and walled part of the city, take advantage of shopping in the downtown boutiques, stroll through the Hippy market next to the port, relax in any of the spas or start preparing in the numerous Beach Clubs of Ibiza the great Ibiza night, of which there is little to say that is not known. The best clubs and discos in the world that house these days the most exclusive shows, the best DJs on the planet and the beautiful people who visit our little paradise, are known worldwide and one of the biggest tourist attractions in Ibiza.
Wednesday June 13. The party starts.
The starting signal for the "Ibiza Gay Pride" will be given at the Portal de Ses Taules, in the area of the old market, starting at 9:30 p.m. with the reading of the proclamation and the welcome message. Subsequently, from 22:00 h. they will begin in the streets of La Virgen and Alfonso XII musical performances with live DJs and animation with shows and Drag Queens. This first night, the theme will be the Special Navy Night, which is recommended to come in disguise as well as loaded with a sense of humor and desire to have fun.
Simultaneously, from 20:00, the artist La Rouge will inaugurate the exhibition on lesbian painting, with her work "Vorágine", at the spai Districte Hipérbole.
Thursday June 14. Do not stop the show.
From 8:00 p.m. at 24:00 live performances will continue in the streets of La Virgen and Alfonso XII. On this night the theme will be Fetish and Sexy Night.
Meanwhile, from 9:00 pm, the Can Ventosa Theater will offer us two screenings. First, the short film "Without fear of HIV" by director David Arteaga, to continue with the film "To Wong Foo, Thanks for everything!"
Friday, June 15 The best has not arrived yet.
We still have two more days and the party continues. For all those who seek something very different we recommend the Flamingo Boat party, where the hand of Las Libertinas and Beautiful People and from 1:00 pm. You can spend an unforgettable day by boat, with live music, shows and many other surprises.
From 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., "Gay Coach" Alberto Rodrigo will talk to us about "Companies without lockers, be visible in your work" and will present us with his new book "The things that I never told you, poems full of soul" at the Spai District Hipérbole.
The theater returns to Can Ventosa with the play Cabaret Circus "C.I.P.O.T.O.H.N", Show directed by the company Acrobatik and where they will make a cure in a humorous tone for homophobia.

Saturday, June 16.
Saturday is the big day of the "Ibiza Gay Pride". Floats, drags and all kinds of public will concentrate from 7:00 p.m. in the Fishermen's Guild to give way to the Great March for LGBTIQ Rights and Freedoms in the world. At 9:30 pm we will proceed to read the manifesto 2018 in the idyllic setting of the Monument to the Corsairs, in the Port of Ibiza and the party will move to the Club B12 Gallery, in the polygon of Es Gorg.
With this event we will close once again what we hope will be the most crowded "Ibiza Gay Pride" to date.
